Stud poker is a popular variant of poker where each player is dealt a combination of face-up and face-down cards over multiple betting rounds. Unlike Texas Hold'em, there are no community cards in stud poker. One of the most well-known versions is Seven-Card Stud.
In Seven-Card Stud, each player is dealt two private cards (face down) and one face-up card, followed by three more face-up cards and one final face-down card. Betting rounds occur after each deal. The goal is to make the best five-card hand out of the seven cards you receive.
